Helicopter Ride

- by Quinn Hancock

This week I went for a Helicopter ride,

If I had fallen off, I’d probably have died.

We took off in the sky so very fast,

I hope this ride isn’t my last.

We turned and flew up so high,

It was almost like we were part of the sky.

The helicopter was so, so, loud,

It made more noise than a screaming crowd.

If I had a helicopter it would be so cool,

I’d fly everywhere, even to school.

There once was a boy named Quinn
Who took to the sky without a wing
He spun so fast
To make the ride last
Then wrote a poem we all want to sing!

Your poem is better than mine, but you inspired me!

Thanks Mr. Wilson I like your limerick, my Dad taught me about them. Ps. Please make the changes to the spelling bee that I talked to you about at Magic Mountain.

Hi Quinn!
My friend Cooper (who is 8.5 years old) love the poem about the helicopter ride! I took a helicopter ride once too and also thought “i hope it wasn’t my last” . I was showing him your site because he would like to learn how to blog. Love the judo blog of course!
