-by Roald Dahl

This is the story of Mr. Hoppy. He loves two things in life, the flowers that he grows on his balcony, and the lady that he can see from his balcony, Ms. Silver. Ms. Silver loves her tortoise Alfie and her only wish is that he will grow bigger. Mr. Hoppy tells her he knows a magic spell that will help. It is really just a bunch of words spelled backwards. Ms. Silver says that if it works she will be his slave for life, so Mr. Hoppy decides to trick her. He builds a tortoise catcher to grab Alfie and replaces him with a bigger tortoise from the pet shop each week. Ms. Silver is so happy that she falls in love and marries Mr. Hoppy. They lived happily ever after.
